I can't believe no one has diaried this yet, but my best efforts at searching have not found it.
This week's episode of "Six Feet Under" in one of the most searing, brilliant, and visceral attacks on the Bush administration and the Iraq War in particular that I have ever seen. On the emotional impact scale, it makes "Fahrenheit 911" seem like a Loony Tunes production.
The five year series is ending after just one more episode, and has been the best written series ever presented, and certainly had an ironic, progressive viewpoint throughout. But in general it didn't make too many overtly political statements, at least not without tempering them with an element of skepticism or cynicism, not unlike the way the "South Park" guys do.
