Listening to Gonzales try to defend the illegal wiretapping program, and realizing that his evasive testimony implies that far greater crimes are being practiced against the American people than we have even yet to suspect, and wondering where will it all end, I realized that a few simple words tie all of the current administration's crimes together: lying, spying and dying.
Hopefully, a simple slogan like that can help crystalize for the public what continuing the current Republican policies mean for this country: more lies, more spying and more dying. Like the "culture of corruption" meme which continues to fester under Karl Rove's nose like Molly Ivans' proverbial rotting chicken, so must Democrats continue to communicate to the american people in the simplest, clearest shorthand possible, how their leadership must and will be different from that of the last five years.
