Last week it was a huge Saudi oil refinery and one of the holiest of Shiia mosques in Iraq. This week starts out with two governors' offices in oil-rich Khuzestan province blowing up ten minutes apart while meetings were going on. Sound a little like our frantic attempts to "decapitate" Saddam's regime at the beginning of the current Iraq War?
State television showed footage from a meeting at the Abadan governor's office which was in session when the bomb exploded. Disorientated officials picked their way through piles of debris and clouds of dust.
